Creative works

As well as been an avid listener and concert goer, Alfred Hermida has been producing music for over two decades. His track, Echo, was regularly heard by listeners of the BBC World Service as it was the theme tune for the show, Go Digital, from 2001 to 2005. The show updated the theme song in 2005. His track, Hardcore, was featured in the Hot Clubbing 2 dance compilation released in 2002.

Currently he releases electronic dance music under the name, UXB. The tracks range from happy house to deep techno to ambient beats.

In 2022 he started producing nu metal music under the name, Void Vanguard. You can find Void Vanguard merch on Redbubble.

You can find his music on all major music streaming services

Alfred is a keen photographer. He started taking photos as a teenager with an Olympus OM-2 and has not stopped since.

His photography has been displayed at the Chase The Light exhibitions in 2021, 2022 and 2023 at the Photographic Center Northwest in Seattle.

His photos can be found at 500px, Flickr and, of course, Instagram.
